Comparison of HaT 28mm Andalusian Cav
So being a bit cheap on occasion , I am Greek, I was looking around for some cheap Arab/Saracen cav. Then I found the HaT 28mm El Cid range. I had been happy with HaT's 28mm Nap Prussians so I decided to order a box of the Arab cav. I was a bit apprehensive since a lot of the pics on the HaT side are to say weak.
So I based up 2 figs. Had to replace a spear which had come broken, but that is never a problem. Painted up pretty well. Here is a comparison between HaT Hv Andalusian Cav and a Foundry Sikh and an Old Glory Scythian,

Lepanto again and Bigger this time!
It took a month of steady painting and a vacation day, but our 100+ galley game finally got played.
The rules were Christian Fire and Turkish Fury by David Manley, who ever so kindly sent me a PDF.
They are designed for Fleet action renaissance naval games, using a Fire and Fury type mechanic.
Everything is done by squadrons.
Bob Henderson brought his gorgeous Langton ships while I provided the many Navwar 1/1200 ships.
Game took about 2 hours with 7 players who had never played the rules before.
A Turkish Victory!
